Wilson Combat 1911 Mainspring Housing, Flat, Full-Size, Blue - 92BF

Upgrade a compatible full-size 1911 with the Wilson Combat Flat Mainspring Housing in Blue. Fully machined from bar-stock carbon steel, this replacement housing is built for strength and durability while providing a traditional flat profile and a clean, low-luster blued finish. The housing features 30 LPI cut checkering to provide a secure gripping surface at the rear of the pistol. Wilson Combat machines the checkering directly into the steel rather than molding or casting it, giving the part a precise, finished appearance and durable traction. Designed for full-size 1911 pistols, the 92BF is intended as a drop-in upgrade for most compatible handguns, including pistols originally equipped with cast or polymer mainspring housings. Due to dimensional differences between 1911 manufacturers, minor fitting may be required. Wilson Combat recommends installation and fitting by a qualified gunsmith. For shooters looking to replace a worn factory housing or upgrade to a machined steel component, the Wilson Combat 92BF offers classic 1911 styling, durable construction, and positive 30 LPI checkering in a traditional blued finish.
