For most rifle models, no drilling or tapping is necessary. The dovetailed front and rear sights may require minor adjustments for proper fitting. The rear slide/blade combination is compatible with all standard-sized Williams adjustable rear guide open sight bases, transforming traditional rear iron sights into fire sights.
