When the auto-shutoff isdisengaged the dot starts at the highest brightness setting then decreases brightness tothe lowest brightness setting over three seconds. When the auto-shutoff is engaged, thedot starts at the lowest brightness setting then increases brightness to brightest settingover three seconds. Button presses are not allowed during that three second period.Motion Activation:The Defender-XL(TM) is equipped with motion activation. This feature is only available whenthe auto-shutoff feature is turned on.
