Die sets for straight wall cases consist of three dies, each designed to perform a specific task, as it is not possible to full-length resize and expand the neck for proper bullet fit in a single operation. The full-length (FL) resizing die includes a decapping rod assembly to remove the spent primer. The expander die (EXP) contains a neck-expanding plug to ensure the case neck is properly sized for bullet insertion. The seating die (ST) is equipped with a bullet guide, a built-in crimp ring and the appropriate seating plug to ensure accurate bullet seating and a secure crimp.
