Magazine dimples or spring retaining devices need to be smoothed or removed for proper function if present. It allows users to install the Nordic Components MXT 12ga shotgun extension tube kit. This nut is compatible with the Remington 870, 1100, 11-87, Versa Max, and V3. It's also compatible with the Remington Model 11 (some Model 11 shotguns require the Browning Auto-5 nut) and the Savage A(R) 720 and 745 (requires spacer between barrel lug and nut). Made in USA.Note: This nut is also compatible with other shotguns utilizing the same factory magazine thread pattern, but may require modification/fabrication for proper installation.
