MDT chassis systems were originally designed with sports and tactical shooting in mind. However, we've observed over the years that our rifle chassis, especially lighter models like the LSS chassis system, have become popular among hunters. Despite this versatility, we had yet to develop a chassis system specifically tailored for hunting, until now. Introducing the MDT HNT26 chassis system, our first purpose-built hunting rifle chassis. The HNT26 chassis delivers all the expected benefits of a high-performance chassis system, including V-block bedding, adjustable length of pull (LOP) and comb and compatibility with AICS magazines. Remarkably lightweight, starting at just 26 oz for the standard fixed version, the HNT26 is crafted from a magnesium alloy rifle stock/base, with a carbon fiber forend, pistol grip and a foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock for optimal strength and weight balance. Recognizing the growing use of ARCA tripods among hunters, we offer a carbon fiber forend option with an integrated ARCA rail.
