The Griffin Armament CAM-LOK universal QD piston is the bronze-colored piston designed to live inside the suppressor and enable a dramatically faster, more secure mounting solution on Browning-style tilt-barrel pistols. This two-piece systemcomprising the piston and the barrel adapterdelivers a rapid, torque-driven attachment that mitigates the common loosening seen with legacy single-piece, direct-thread pistons, which can wander during slide cycling and lead to disruptive baffle or end cap strikes. With the CAM-LOK interface, users enjoy a true three-position, 120-degree indexed mounting capability and a taper-lock design that maintains secure attachment even as the piston reciprocates, reducing misalignment and POI drift. The pistons are manufactured to Griffin Armaments exacting standards for squareness and concentricity, ensuring consistent performance across each mounting position and compatibility with universal CAM-LOK barrel adapters (sold separately) for seamless cross-compatibility with various host firearms and other CAM-LOK pistons.
