Glock G23 Gen5 MOS 40 S&W 4.02" 13rd Pistol

The Glock G23 Gen5 MOS is the compact 40 S&W option in Glock's fifth generation lineup. The Modular Optic System slide comes milled from the factory to accept adapter plates for most popular micro red dots, putting the optic low and tight to the bore axis. The 4.02" GMB (Glock Marksman Barrel) has improved rifling that tightens groups compared to previous generations. Three 13 round magazines come in the box.Gen5 brought several updates to the platform. The grip lost the finger grooves, which makes it work for a wider range of hand sizes straight out of the box. The flared magwell speeds up reloads under stress. Ambidextrous slide stop means left handed shooters get full functionality without modifications. The nDLC finish on the slide resists corrosion and holster wear better than the older Tenifer treatment. Interchangeable backstraps let you customize the grip circumference to your hand. The 40 S&W round hits harder than 9mm in the same compact frame, and the Gen5 recoil spring assembly manages the snap well. The trigger has a shorter reset than Gen4, which helps with follow up shots. Standard Glock reliability applies run it dirty, run it wet, run it dry, and it goes bang every time you pull the trigger.
