Its unique and patented design creates an elevated MIL-STD-1913, or Picatinny, platform for direct attachment of lights, optics, thermals, and aiming devices, making it ideal for compact PDW and SMG platforms where rail space is at a premium but mounting a light and aiming device remains critical.
