The Forward Controls Design 6315KM-L is the extended-length version of FCD's 6315KM, designed around compatible 13.9-inch 5.56mm barrels and the Dead Air KeyMo suppressor mounting system. Threaded 1/2x28, the 6315KM-L measures approximately 2.7 inches long, giving it the added length needed for certain pinned-and-welded configurations while retaining the flash suppression and muzzle-control characteristics of the 6315 family. Its asymmetric port geometry directs more gas through the upward-facing ports, helping improve muzzle-rise control without turning the device into a harsh, high-concussion brake. Forward Controls Design states that the 6315KM-L provides approximately 15% to 20% better muzzle-rise compensation than a standard A2 while maintaining flash suppression comparable to an A2. The integrated Dead Air KeyMo interface allows the 6315KM-L to serve as a mounting point for compatible 5.56mm suppressors that use the KeyMo system. FCD is an authorized licensee of Dead Air suppressor mounts, making the 6315KM-L a purpose-built option for shooters who want a compact flash suppressor, compensator, and suppressor mount in one component. The Forward Controls Design 6310RF is a compact .30-caliber flash suppressor and muzzle-rise compensator designed for compatible rifles with 5/8x24 muzzle threads. Developed in collaboration with Revival Defense, the 6310RF also functions as a suppressor-mounting muzzle device through its 0.900x24 external threads and Plan B-compatible taper. Based on FCD's proven 6310 design, the 6310RF uses a closed-bottom port layout with smaller 3 and 9 o'clock ports that direct more gas through the three upward-facing ports. Forward Controls Design states that this geometry provides approximately 15% to 20% better muzzle-rise compensation while maintaining flash suppression similar to an A2-style device without the excessive concussion associated with many dedicated compensators. The 6310RF uses 0.900x24 external threads for compatibility with suppressors and adapters that support that interface, including Rearden Atlas and other Plan B-type mounts. This gives shooters a compact muzzle device that performs effectively when unsuppressed while also supporting compatible suppressor setups.
