The ESF-H1 (End plate, sling adapter, Forward Controls Design, heavy, 1 Socket) is a precision engineered end plate replacement designed for the AR-platform, compatible with both .223 and .308 specifications. When using a conventional castle nut wrench with three lugs, the socket housing may obstruct access to one lug. To address this, a 2-lug castle nut wrench, such as the AR Multitasker or our proprietary JCW (Joint castle nut Wrench), is recommended for optimal torque application. Additionally, the ESF-H1's receiver extension indexing tab is designed for a snug fit, which may be tight on some receiver extensions, ensuring a secure and stable installation.
