Forward Controls Design ACF .308 Ambidextrous Charging Handle, Black - ACF, 308, Black

The Forward Controls Design ACF .308 Ambidextrous Charging Handle is designed for compatible SR-25 and LR-308-pattern upper receivers, providing durable bilateral operation and improved control for large-frame AR platforms. Built around the strengths of the traditional charging handle design, the ACF adds reinforced geometry, protected latches, and enhanced gas deflection for demanding rifle setups. The ACF uses constant-motion latches on both sides of the handle. Rather than stopping abruptly under hard use, the latches continue moving into the handle body, helping reduce stress around the latch pins during forceful manipulation or mortaring. Solid pins and semi-blind pin holes further support long-term durability. A taller, horseshoe-shaped gas-deflection fence helps redirect gas and debris away from the shooter's face, making the ACF especially useful on suppressed .308 rifle configurations. Aggressive serrations on the front and curved rear surfaces provide positive traction, while the anti-snag T-handle maintains a compact width to encourage a straight rearward pull. Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished with Type III hard-coat anodizing, the ACF .308 combines lightweight construction with the strength needed for hard-use large-frame AR rifles. This Black version is made in the USA and is specifically intended for SR-25 and LR-308-pattern receivers. It is not compatible with the HK MR762.
