The Faxon FirearmsA(R) Type 2 AR-15 6.5 Grendel Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) features a 9310 steel bolt and an 8620 carpenter steel carrier. Both the carrier and bolt are finished with corrosion-resistant salt bath nitride for long-lasting and unmatched durability. This BCG features forward assist serrations so you can make sure it closes every time. This M-16 style BCG boasts a properly staked gas key fastened with grade 8 hardware and Permatex sealed. If that's not enough, the bolt is shot peened per Mil-Spec and is magnetic particle inspected (MPI). Locking lugs chamfered for more reliable operation.
