The Faxon FirearmsA(R) Match Series AR-15 24" Rifle-Length Gas .22 ARC 1:7 Stainless Steel Barrel is a performance-enhanced rifle barrel specifically designed for competitive shooters who require superior accuracy and consistency at longer ranges. This individually Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) barrel features 416-R stainless steel bar stock construction with a salt bath nitride finish for long-lasting service, while 5R button rifling reduces jacket deformation, which effectively increases velocities and improves accuracy. The extension is coated with a high-lubricity nickel Teflon, delivering superior corrosion resistance and ensuring a tighter fit between the extension and receiver. The 1:7 twist and recessed target crown ensure maximum accuracy potential with most 22 ARC rifle loads, and the factory-machined 1/2x28 threads (thread protector NOT included) readily accept a variety of muzzle brakes, flash hiders, and suppressor mounts. Plus, the proprietary, heavy-fluted design offers a unique appearance while facilitating faster cooling for enhanced performance, even under rapid-fire/full-auto conditions.
