Individually Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI), this barrel features 416-R stainless steel construction with a salt bath nitride finish for long-lasting service, while 5R button rifling reduces jacket deformation, increases velocities, and allows for faster cleaning. The extension is coated with nickel Teflon, delivering natural dry lubricity, superior corrosion resistance, and a tighter fit between the extension and receiver. The 1:10 twist and recessed target crown ensure maximum accuracy potential with most .308 hollow-point and solid-point loads, and the factory-machined 5/8x24 threads (thread protector NOT included) readily accept a variety of muzzle brakes, flash hiders, and suppressor mounts.
