This AR-15 barrel features 416R stainless steel construction with a salt bath nitride finish for long-lasting service, while 5R button rifling reduces jacket deformation and increases velocities for optimal accuracy and consistency. The barrel extension is coated with nickel Teflon, delivering natural dry lubricity and superior corrosion resistance while simultaneously ensuring a tighter fit between the extension and receiver. The 1:8 twist and recessed target crown ensure maximum accuracy potential with most .223/5.56 loads, and the factory-machined 1/2x28 threads (thread protector NOT included) readily accept a variety of muzzle brakes, flash hiders, and suppressor mounts.
