Introducing a solution to the persistent issue of pin punch breakage that has affected gunsmiths and other professionals - a replaceable tip system. The handles, featuring a removable knurled chuck to secure the punch, are constructed from robust, fatigue-resistant cold-rolled steel (CRS) with a minimum tensile strength of 140000 psi. The key innovation lies in the replaceable punch, crafted from specialized tool steel with bevel heads, originally designed for tool, die and mold manufacturers as perforators, punches, ejectors and core pins. These punches are oil-hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58-60, with heads annealed to Rc 42-45. Available in two lengths, they can be ground to the precise length required, offering custom punches with minimal investment.
