Brownells B.O.N Crystals Bleed-Out Neutralizer, 8 lb

Immerse the firearm in a 5% solution of B.O.N. And water (6 oz per gallon) for 30 min between the cold and hot water rinses following the bluing process. This procedure will neutralize any residual salts and prevent the formation of unsightly and damaging bleed-out, such as the white ring that appears where the barrel and frame join, around ribs, ramps, sights and occasionally around milled-out sections in the receiver. The solution should be maintained at a temperature of 130 to 150 deg F and used in a standard bluing tank. 1 gal of the prepared solution is sufficient for treating multiple firearms and can be reused.
