Spiral Stitched wheels are primarily utilized for the initial cleaning process on firearms, in conjunction with No. 140 Polish-O-Ray. This combination effectively removes old bluing, dirt and rust, restoring the metal to a bright finish. Some operators prefer Spiral Stitched wheels over Soft Felt wheels due to their more flexible nature. However, it is imperative to exercise caution to avoid rounding edges or inadvertently funneling and elongating screw and pin holes.
