During the honing process, tight spots can be detected and addressed with additional attention until they are smoothed out. For new barrels, the Fine hone alone is sufficient to enhance the factory finish to a mirror-like shine, which is highly appealing to customers. The system is user-friendly - secure it in a variable-speed electric drill, apply Flex Hone oil to the hone, start the drill and insert the hone into the barrel from the breech end, if feasible.
