Increased internal counterweight travel reduces bolt bounce for smooth operation, while hard-coat anodized 7075T6 aluminum construction maximizes strength for long-lasting service life. This replacement buffer works with M16A4 rifle springs, offering improved consistency and reduced noise for added reliability. Using any other component, not specifically developed to function with the MK2 MOD1 Intermediate Buffer can cause damage to the weapon and possibly injure the operator.
