The Springfield Armory Echelon is a full size striker fired 9mm built around a modular central operating group. The 4" barrel on this Full Contour model provides a compact overall length while keeping a full grip. The U-Dot sight system gives you a single illuminated front dot for fast acquisition in any lighting condition. This Gear Up package adds a green dot optic, four 15 round magazines, and a range bag so you walk out ready to shoot without buying accessories separately.The Echelon's central operating group is the serialized component, similar in concept to the SIG P320 FCU system. That means the grip module can be swapped between sizes without a trip to the FFL. The slide runs on hardened steel guide rails embedded in the grip module, not polymer on polymer, which tightens the lockup. The accessory rail takes standard lights and lasers. Springfield cut the slide for direct optic mounting with multiple plate patterns covering most popular red dots. Four magazines in the box is generous and saves you money upfront since spare mags usually run $30-40 each. The trigger breaks clean with a short tactile reset.
