The Heckler & Koch VP9 A1 F is the full size version of HK's striker fired platform, and this configuration comes bundled with a Vortex Crossfire Carry Wallet (CCW) red dot mounted from the factory. That means you get an optics ready pistol that is already set up to shoot with a dot, no separate purchase or fitting required. The 4.53" barrel gives a full sight radius for iron sight backup, and the 20 round magazine capacity makes this one of the higher capacity factory options in the full size striker fired category.HK builds the VP9 around a cold hammer forged barrel with polygonal rifling. The striker fired trigger has a clean break and a short, positive reset that is easy to track under recoil. The A1 variant adds a push button magazine release alongside the traditional paddle, so shooters from any background can run it without retraining. The full size F grip gives you plenty to hold on to, and HK's interchangeable backstraps and side panels let you tune the grip shape to your hand. A Picatinny rail up front takes any standard weapon light. The serrated slide has forward and rear cocking serrations for press checks and manipulations. Two 20 round magazines and the Vortex CCW optic are included, giving you a competition or duty ready package straight from the box.
