It exhibits minimal shrinkage, less than 0.1% and resists compression, crumbling or degradation under the most severe magnum or semi-automatic recoil. Fiberglass stock manufacturers utilize Steel Bed to reinforce the recoil lugs of lightweight mountain rifles, while military armorers and civilian shooters rely on it under demanding conditions without failure.
